Inspired by the worldwide quarantine's impact on personal style & hygine, WhisperCuts was launched as a "What if?" branding exercise, but soon evolved into an open challenge for young brand designers to express their take on a universal need, and a subject everyone happens to be talking about.

Imagined as a secret and exclusive opportunity patterned after prohibition-era speakeasies, WhisperCuts aims to deliver an unforgettable experience and a positive emotional benefit. From MetaVisual's Creative Brief:

"Whisper Cuts is poised to provide the emotional lift of a good haircut at a time of cabin fever and social distancing. Nothing makes a stay-at-home order harder to endure than the maddening daily battle with unruly hair. But be careful who you tell, Whisper Cuts is doing it on the DL. Shhh… Whisper Cuts needs a trademark and brand identity that can launch big, but stay a secret."
